In our consultancy projects, we use agent-based models to test, verify and improve protocol designs. We reconstruct the protocol design in a simulation, where artificial agents can interact with it. This allows us to test protocol robustness and stability.

Services

Agent-based modelling is a powerful tool that can help answer important questions in a variety of areas. Our agent-based models can provide valuable insights on a range of topics including:

  • Protocol safety in the presence of economic shocks. For example, our models can help assess how well a protocol would withstand a market event such as a Black Thursday.
  • Holistic view of the interaction of protocol parameters. Our models provide a comprehensive view of how different protocol parameters interact and influence each other, which can be useful for optimizing protocols and making informed decisions.
  • Anticipate agent behavior and adjust protocol parameters or recommendations accordingly. By simulating the behavior of agents, our models can help anticipate their behavior in a given situation and make recommendations to adjust protocol parameters or other factors to achieve the desired results.

Cryptecon and CFX Technologies Ltd. are collaborating to create the world’s first fantasy prediction platform for cryptocurrencies.

Polkadex builds a decentralized, peer-to-peer exchange for cryptocurrencies. So far, these exchanges have either been centrally managed and therefore prone to attacks or slow. New blockchain technologies allow more targeted and faster data processing.

Cryptecon was contracted in 2018 to do simulations of monetary policy choices for Gen.ki, a blockchain-based IoT application.

Havven, rebranded as Synthetix, is a decentralized payment network enabling cryptocurrency purchases.

Verasity developed the Proof-of-View blockchain technology and an ad-tech solution to prevent ad fraud on various video platforms. Furthermore, they created a platform for e-sport broadcasts with which they could also test their ad tech solution.
