Ecosystem Design

A good design is a key factor of success for a protocol. This includes defining and describing the ecosystem of the protocol, as well as, in a second step, defining, setting, and testing the parameters of your protocol. Our experts provide you with the required economic expertise and support in those tasks.

Services

  • Protocol Ecosystem Definition: During the development phase of your project, we discuss and help you to concretize your ideas and define the ecosystem of your protocol. In particular, we help you to identify the main participants and processes that interact with each other. This can be done, for example, by designing a flowchart of those interactions.
  • Parameter Definition: Once your ideas are concrete, we support you in defining the parameters needed to ensure that your protocol works well and as intended. This may include parameters that define how different actions of some participants impact other participants, or how the safety of the protocol is reinforced.
  • Parameter Testing and Validation: Once your parameters have been defined, it is crucial to test them to ensure that the protocol works as expected and, if necessary, to adjust the parameters. In particular, testing the parameters allows you to validate the choices you have made. Depending on your needs, our experts help you to test the parameters with different types of models (from simple Excel-based models to complex agent-based models (ABM) in python or other programming languages).
