Biography
Thunj Chantramonklasri is an Expert Fellow at the Center for Cryptoeconomics where he brings extensive industry experience from both the ecosystem builder and institutional sides to the role. Thunj was most recently the Chief Economist for a leading Southeast Asian cryptocurrency broker/exchange, where he designed the platform’s native token and authored the widely circulated white paper. Prior to this, Thunj led fintech and financial research for one of Thailand’s largest banks, focusing on blockchain technology and its applications in banking. Thunj has also published reports with University of Cambridge’s Centre for Alternative Finance and the Thai Venture Capital Association. Thunj holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where he specialized in Game Theory and Mechanism Design.
